Hello boys and girls,
Today I had the brilliant idea of actually writing out some of our wiki's rules. Long overdue, I know. Anyway, I worked them into the Help:Community Guidelines. Please go check them out!
Having our rules written out like this means a couple things for us like a community. First, when any of you see someone breaking one of the rules, you can kindly direct them to the guidelines so they can read them themselves. People can't follow rules that they don't know about! This also means that you routinely active users might see me acting more strict with you guys. Nothing personal, but I really want to create a warmer community here, and I can't think of a single one of us (myself included) who isn't guilty of harshing the mellow here. This leads us into our last change here: having a written set of rules means that you guys can call me out on my shit if I suddenly forget the rules and start acting like a dickbag. Just, you know, don't be a dick about me being a dick, okay dudes?
Another notice: I HAVE EVOLVED! I just figured out how to access the full site from Safari on my iPhone. This means that I can edit and comment on pages now, when previously I could only respond to forum posts. So you may or may not see me around more often now. Just depends on how utterly lazy I'm feeling on a given day.Lastly, I'll be going on holiday break in a couple of weeks. Aside from relaxing away from school, I'll likely be using my time off to work on mod content and wiki pages. When 7.3 came out, I dedicated my efforts into updating the Item pages first, because I hadn't gotten to most of them in my first massive rush of edits. I still have a few to go (namely the toys) and then I might possibly start on the 7.3 mob pages. But with so much new content added between 7.2 and 7.3, who knows how much I'll actually get through over break?
Thanks for tuning in for another weird late-night blog post guys! As always, if you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask.
