    • 900. The concept of happy and angry dinosaurs was really well thought-out, but their preferred biomes aren't very accurate. It's like all of them like a grassy landscape. In reality, Velociraptor lived in a desert, Stegosaurus lived by rivers in plains and forests, Plesiosaurus hunted in open waters and bred in the shallows, Triceratops lived on flatlands with low shrubs and deciduous trees...you get the point. And since grass wasn't around, the dinosaurs should LOATHE grass. You should also add an Archeleon, Megalodon, Diplodocus, Alanqa, and Dimetrodon sometime. But other than that, great job!

    • Obviously the new textures and animations is the best part but the whole "mood" concept was really cool and adds a whole new level to caring for your Dinosaurs.

Speaking of dinosaurs, the new ones, Parasaurolophus, therizinosaurus, and dryosaurus are really cool. The new dinopedia is very in-depth and nice. Also separating the four terror birds was a good choice.

And IMO (I suspect I'm not alone though) quagga really needs a redo(or the vanilla horse does)

    • Oh forgot I r8 999\1000 minus one cause of quagga. Near perfect mod

Apparently evidence for grass-eating adaptations have been observed in an early mammal, which lived 120 mya, so even if they weren't common, dinos would be used to them.

    • I say 800 it is good because the new animations and the mood and the new models and textures and the toys BUT the config was broken and there were any bugs. But the update is pretty well i hope the quagga will have a new model, texture and more animations in the next update.

      Well, they can screw off.

Anyways, I give it an 800/1000.

Most of the new additions are amazing. I freaking LOVE the new animations and models; they make the dinosaurs more realistic than ever before. As well as this, the new AI is amazing; it's about time Sarcosuchus and Spinosaurus became amphibious! The moods are also pretty amazing, as they really show whether your animal's enjoying its time here or not; in addition to this, you can give them toys for playing, and it's really cute. Along with this, I'm glad they split the "terror birds" into 4 different mobs; all of them were really different from each other. Finally... WE GET OVERDUE REPTILES YAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!

However, as someone before me said, I hate it how you always have to have vegetation for them to be happy. I mean, Pteranodon lived on rocky cliffs and outcroppings near the ocean, so why the cluck do I have to plant Palaeoraphe trees to make them feel like they're at home? As well as this, small animals do not know how to run away from larger predators, which makes them easily vulnerable. In addition to this, Velociraptor, Deinonychus, and Compsognathus aren't able to run up to their prey and bite them, and Pteranodon is literally the epitome of the word "lazy cuckoo". Last but not least, all the terror birds have the same model, with Gastornis and Phorusrhacos retaining their lazy WWB textures...

Quick btw, there's only one mob with a "preferred biome" - mammoths, which can't stand heat when they're coats are fully grown

    • Asdfgirl, I have a question about the mod. After the big update 7.3, you's added a smaller new one 7.3.1( I think that was it) and it added three new dinosaurs, my question is how long did it take to make just one of them.

Modelling was less than a day, coding was less than a day. Theoretically that's one day, even though IRL they were done on different days

Wow, that's much quicker then I thought it would have taken.

      Keep up the good work.

I can't, there are no solemn declarations or affirmations by some sacred being or objects, as a deity or the Bible (that's the actual definition of sware, fite me).

    • 980. There's a few minor things, like the Quagga refusing to jump and swimming mobs sinking to the bottom of their tanks, but overall a very well done mod.

Poor, poor quagga. Maybe one day the vanilla horse code will cooperate so that you can jump. (Thanks for the high rating!)

    • Its a cool mod and my kids like it, they call it the dinosaur mod. However, I am sad to see the mistake that Archaeology has to do with dinosaurs is perpetuated. I recommend change the name to Fossils and Paleontology.  Because Archaeologists dont do dinosaurs.

Or replace the dinosaurs with some of the popular prehistoric mammals, giant sloth, sabertooth cat ( smilodon), mammoth, giant koala (diprotodon), Leviathan Mellvillei, giant Rhino (Arsinoitherium), etc.

You see, there are supposed to be ancient structures in here, so it has paleontology and archeology. Not to mention the upcoming archeology update that was needed for a long time.

Right. We are named Fossils and Archeology for a reason: We add BOTH. If you haven’t seen any of it, you can get a small taste of the archeology things we include here: http://fossils-archeology.wikia.com/wiki/Structures
