When a player scoops up liquid tar (added in 7.3) in a bucket, it produces a tar bucket. Tar buckets can be used to pour tar, of course, but they can also be used to craft the useful tar drops, which are used in obtaining Cenozoic mobs. Placing it in the crafting table yields 4 tar drops and returns the bucket.
