Hey ASDFGirl, I would love to help you guys out with this mod. I have loved playing with itsince I was 9 and loved watching vidoes on it since I was 4. I can be a modeler or texturer, or a coder (I am working on understanding it). I hope you can reach me as soon as possible. Thanks!
These creatures are my favorite and when I heard they were coming to the game I had a bigger grin than when the megalodon showed up. I was just wondering so I can make a dinosaur battl--- I mean park, yeah park.
I’m sorry if you get asked this a lot, but I was wondering if it was possible to make a lite version of the great Fossils and Archeology mod for Bedrock edition? Making a resource and behavior pack download would open a huge door for dino appreciators on console! There are other mods similar (project prehistoric) that are available on console but they lack the quality or completion of Fossils and Archeology. Thank you and I look forward to your response!
The devs have talked about this before, they really don't have the resources to do that. They've in the past said that it would be too much work to update two versions of the mod at once, and even ignoring that and going with the idea of a 'lite' version with less content that they don't update, no one knows how to code in C++ or whatever consoles use. They all have completely different coding languages than Java edition Minecraft, and I think the language even changes from console to console to phone to tablet to console to phone. Don't think it'll be something the devs will *ever* be able to accomplish. Throw this in with the neverending pile of "sHiTty PhOnE eDItiOn pLS" that all ask something impossible. (And PCs are better than phones anyway)
God I miss discord. I'd have liked to tell you a bad habit I repeated tonight but I think I'll hold off on that. And just so I don't sound crazy I'm going to watch another episode of this show with absolutely no commentary. I'm gambling that this episode will end not horribly, but i think it might help.
It also annoys me that you're never here to respond to me but I think I'll keep my fingers crossed anyway that I'm not talking to a wall. Maybe I am talking to wall... maybe you're dead. Slaughtered without me ever knowing. I probably won't be able to tell for a long time. Imaginations are cruel.
Is it just me or is this place in a coma? Not dead, but like it's almost there. I also have no idea if you even bother to check you wiki wall at all. If you ever see this I'd appreciate you let me know. Anyway, I guess in the meantime with no discord or anything like that I'd might as well try and fix up the Platybelodon page.
I'll try to summarize that 'letter' I wrote quickly. My parents have removed my phone and discord. I didn't know you made the 8.0.2 amphibs and I complimented you on them. I asked what else you made that's still in the game. I suggested mentioning in creature articles who had made the most recent version of the model. My borb loves keyboards and he is cute. My siblings watch an anime I don't like, but there's an anime I have desperately been wanting to be able to watch more of. I wanted to watch it with Rachel but my parents would never let me have the time to do that. I asked what anime/fake anime you've watched before. I finished driving school today, tomorrow I get a permit which is basically useless. The Platybelodon page is doodoo and I said I'd fix it sometime soon. I asked how many creatures/plants were coming with 8.0.3, and if any were already revealed (No specific species, just a number). I'd like to whip up a custom Brymbo scrolling main menu background, and see if any of you devs like it. And I said the word "Anyway" 7 times. It's still a text wall, but I think it's more manageable now. And I'm copy pasting this bitch just in case.
I'm curious if this community has ever considered enabling the discussions feature. Having a modern area for users to communicate that is integrated into the wiki has been proven to increase activity and adds another reason to keep users coming back to the wiki. Fandom data suggests that users who check out Discussions are twice as likely to visit that wiki again, compared to users who only browse articles. Adding this feature basically upgrades the wiki from just an encyclopedia, into a comprehensive fan destination and a place for users to hang out, rather than just visiting the wiki quickly for some information, and then leaving. It could help invite fresh energy, new ideas, and help sustain the community.
It is entirely up to you of course, but if you'd like, I could enable this feature for the wiki and it could possibly encourage new editors to join (or old ones to return). Let me know whether or not you're interested.
